Built for property management companies, leasing offices, and multifamily portfolios — turnover rekeys, master key and key control, and vendor paperwork that matches how PMs actually work.
Liberty Locksmiths and Security is the locksmith vendor for property managers who need unit turns done right, documented by unit, and billed on NET terms for approved accounts. Liberty technicians only — no subcontractors. We work under NTE / PO, take job photos, and quote before we start.

Who this page is for
Property management companies · leasing offices · multifamily and mixed-use operators · landlords with portfolios · HOA / condo boards (common areas and building entries) · ownership groups that need a locksmith on the vendor list — not a one-off residential lockout call.
Problems we solve for PMs
- Move-out and tenant turnover rekeys that have to hit the leasing calendar
- Lost or compromised unit keys — and master key systems that need hierarchy continuity
- Building-wide rekey after staff turnover or a key-control failure
- Eviction, bank-owned, and sheriff lock changes with a licensed locksmith on site
- Common-area and HOA entry hardware that residents and vendors share
- Vendor onboarding friction: COI, W-9, licenses, NTE / PO, photos, NET billing
Property management locksmith services
- Tenant turnover and move-out rekey — unit cylinders rekeyed, keys labeled for handoff, documentation you can file by unit and work order
- Master key and key control — building and portfolio hierarchies, restricted keying where the system supports it, records PMs can keep
- Building rekey — coordinated multi-unit or multi-building key changes
- Eviction / bank-owned / sheriff lock changes — licensed locksmith on site when the process requires it
- HOA and common-area hardware — lobby, amenity, and shared-entry openings without turning this into a retail commercial catalog
- Access control support — keypad, card, or buzzer help when the property already runs that hardware (integrator work stays with your integrator when that is the right path)
How ongoing PM account service works
- NTE / PO before we exceed scope. Trip and initial NTE established before we roll; if site conditions change the job, we document findings and request approval before going further.
- Photos and unit-level notes. Before/after photos and tech notes tied to unit, building, and work order when you provide them.
- NET billing for approved accounts. Invoices that match how PM closes tickets — not cash-only surprise pricing.
- Same-day COI / W-9 / licenses for vendor onboarding and renewals.
- Liberty technicians only — no subcontractors on your properties.

PM vs facilities — keep the lanes clear
This page is for property management and multifamily — turns, unit key control, eviction lock changes, HOA common areas. If you are an FM team or multi-site chain running work orders across retail, offices, or national portfolios, see Facilities instead.

FAQ
Can you rekey units on a turnover schedule without holding leasing?
Yes — that is the core PM job. Give us building, unit list, keying notes, and your NTE / PO. We rekey to your calendar, label keys for handoff, and document by unit so leasing can move forward.
What if a master key is lost or compromised?
We assess which openings share the compromised key, propose a rekey or hierarchy change that restores control, and document what changed so your key chart stays accurate. Restricted systems are handled within what the existing hardware supports.
Do you handle eviction or bank-owned lock changes?
Yes. When process requires a licensed locksmith on site, we coordinate with your PM, attorney, or officer contact, change locks as authorized, and leave documentation suitable for your file.
How does billing work for multifamily accounts?
Approved accounts work under NTE / PO with NET billing. Invoices can reference property, unit, and work order. Request COI and W-9 when you add us to the vendor list.
Do you serve Charlotte and Fort Mill PMs as well as Northern NJ?
Yes. Carolinas PM work is dispatched from Fort Mill (NC license #3097) for Charlotte, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and York County — same no-subcontractor and documentation standards as Northern NJ, Rockland County NY, and Staten Island.
